Christine Phillips, Science & Social Studies Instructor

Christine received her AMS early childhood credential from the Montana Montessori Teacher Education Institute in 2010. Her background includes teaching experiential and natural science, leading Outward Bound courses, teaching English in Chiapas, Mexico, and running cross-cultural trainings for international students. Christine is certified in Schools Attuned, a program of the All Kinds of Minds Institute specializing in learning differences in young children. She has completed the intensive program in Montessori Applied to Children at Risk from the Shelton School in Dallas, Texas, a training to identify preschool and elementary aged children at risk for learning disabilities including dyslexia, AD/HD, language processing disorders and dyscalculia. She has a B.S. in Natural Resource Management from the University of Massachusetts and earned her M.A. in Education from St. Catherine University in May 2021.
